If you’re looking for some home grown entertainment this weekend, you’ll want to check out the movie, “Profile of a Killer”.
The action packed thriller features Minnesota actors and was shot entirely in Minnesota.
Profile of a Killer features Minnesota actors John Kunik and Gabe Angieri, who hunt down a teenage serial killer.
Kunik plays a sheriff, who calls in a retired FBI agent to help with the case.
John Kunik, Profile of a Killer: “And being a local sheriff, it’s a little beyond my capabilities, so I call an old friend, who happens to be an FBI profiler, retired.”
Gabe Angieri: “What happens is I’m called in, the investigation starts and I’m kidnapped by this teenage, serial killer.”
Movie: “You’re just a kid…”
John Kunik: “The script is excellent as Gabe said, you’re staching the movie and no matter what you guess you seem to be wrong. That’s what really gives it a lot of its appeal.”
The film was shot entirely around Minneapolis and features Minnesota actors.
It’s not a big budget production, but it looks like one. The actors are hoping word of mouth will help the film… take off.
John Kunik: “It really is a totally, local production.”
Profile of a Killer is now playing at the River Cinema Theater in East Grand Forks.
Friday night at 6:30 the film’s stars will be on hand at the theater to hand out free posters and more.
