A Minot man accused of killing his three daughters in Wisconsin is going to trial today, where his mental status will be determined. Aaron Schaffhausen pleaded "guilty by insane" last week, and now it'll be up to a jury to decide is he was insane at the time he killed the girls.
If he's found insane, he would be sent to a mental hospital and could be released someday. If he's found sane, he could end up in prison for life.
