Experienced new leader for top local homebuilder

JACKSONVILLE, FL, March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Mattamy Homes, one of Northeast Florida's most decorated homebuilders, welcomes aboard a new President to the company's Jacksonville Division.

Cliff Nelson officially joined Mattamy's Jacksonville team in February to take on the important leadership role. Cliff brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role of President. This includes not only 20 years in the industry, but also extensive experience in the Florida housing market, and deep familiarity with Mattamy's business and processes, resulting from spending the last three years as the VP of Operations with Mattamy's Minnesota Division.

"I'm really excited about this opportunity and being able to be part of continuing to build something special in our Jacksonville Division," says Cliff.

Since joining Mattamy in 2009, Cliff has been instrumental in building the Mattamy business and brand in Minnesota. Prior to Mattamy, Cliff held leadership positions with Centex Homes, including their Southeast Florida and Southern Virginia divisions. Cliff holds a BA in Economics from Middlebury College.

Mattamy's Jacksonville Division was recognized in 2012 as the number one builder in the US for customer experience, and recently received several Laurel Awards from the Northeast Florida Builders Association recognizing outstanding sales and marketing efforts in the industry.
