Hawley Man Wins $200,000 Lottery Prize

Ward Muscatell stopped at Kirk's Superstop in Hawley, Minnesota on march 13 for a granola bar and a Diet Coke, white he was in the store he bought two Minnesota State Lottery Twins scratch game tickets. He thought he may have won a prize on the second ticket but, "I didn't' have my glasses on, so I asked the clerk to double check it for me."

Muscatell said the clerk scanned the ticket and told him he won $200,000. He was shocked and immediately told his wife about his big win. The couple made a trip to the lottery headquarters in Roseville that afternoon to claim the prize.

The Minnesota State Lottery Twins scratch game is a $10 ticket that offers a $200,000 top prize. There are currently two of three $200,000 prizes remaining to be claimed.
