PRP retains legal and business-information industry veteran to help its law firm clients navigate change

COSTA MESA, Calif., March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Profit Recovery Partners (PRP) LLC, a professional services firm specializing in innovative expense-reduction solutions, has named Mark Schwartz as its newest consultant. Based in New York, he will be responsible for delivering spend management, supplier management and procurement strategies as part of PRP's Legal Resources team of industry experts.

"Mark embodies a wealth of experience that will greatly augment the capabilities of our Legal Resources offering," said Don Steiner, president, PRP. "He cultivated a unique perspective of the legal services industry while serving in executive roles at an international law firm and a major legal publisher."

Schwartz started his career as a reference librarian at a global law firm, working his way up the ranks to become the associate director of the library. He moved to the librarian relations department at West, the legal publishing division known today as Thomson Reuters Corp., and served as its national director. He then became the director of customer programs at Intelligize Inc., a technology company developing research tools for the legal industry. Before joining PRP, he worked as the senior librarian consultant at Visionary Information Solutions Inc., a legal services consulting group.

"Mark has been involved in the legal and business information industry for nearly 20 years," said Kris Martin, director, PRP information services practices. "This kind of rarified viewpoint will help guide PRP clients during these challenging times in the legal industry, spurring them to embrace change to unlock growth."
