Fire in Basement Fills Home with Smoke

Around midnight, the Fargo Fire Department got a call about smoke and a possible fire in a home on 1710 2nd Street N. Fargo, ND.  

When the firefighters arrived, Battalion Chief Chris Rasmussen says that the firefighters put out the fire quickly. The fire started in the northwest corner of the basement and it caused the basement to be filled with smoke.

The homeowner left the house before Firefighters arrived and no one was hurt.

Investigators continue to look into what may have caused the fire.
