In Thursday's Healthier Me, the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) is urging doctors to stop prescribing so-called 'study drugs' to children who don't need them.
The AAN says memory-enhancing drug use is a growing trend among teens -- especially before tests --, and many of these are receiving ADHD medication through parents who request it for children who do not have the disorder.
Neurologists warn it poses risks for any child whose brain is still developing.
