After a nearly seven hour standoff in the northern Valley, a Minnesota man is in jail for shooting at another person. The standoff started Saturday at about 4PM in Goodridge, Minnesota. That's near Thief River Falls. The Pennington County Sheriff's Office got a call that a man had fired one pistol round at another person. The sheriff's office says a team surrounded the home that 50-year-old Wesley Walton of Goodridge was at. Shortly before 11 PM, they went in the home, and Walton was arrested. No one was hurt during the standoff. Walton is being held at the Pennington County Jail.
