Power Outage in Fargo

Fargo, ND: A power outage hit about 3,500 people in Fargo about 2:30 p.m. Multiple calls came in to the news room saying Sanford Hospital on South University and homes located by Lewis & Clerk Elementary School were with out power.

Xcel energy reports that the power is back on as of 3:15 pm. Xcel Energy says a "failed cable" caused the power outage.
