Borris Dahn made his first appearance in Cass County Court Thursday morning. Dahn is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old female at Davies High School in Fargo.
Bail was initially set at $8,000 but the judge reduced it to $4,000 after Dahn requested it be lowered. His next appearance in court is scheduled for April 4 at 2:00 p.m.

The Fargo Police Department has taken Borris Steven Dahn, 18, of Fargo into custody in connection with an assault at Davies High School.
He was arrested for Simple Assault, Sexual Assault, Felonious Restraint, and Disorderly Conduct. Felonious Restraint is a class C Felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison and/or up to a $5,000 fine. Sexual Assault is a class B Misdemeanor punishable by 1 year in jail and/or a $2,000 fine. Disorderly Conduct and Simple Assault are class B Misdemeanors punishable by 30 days in jail and /or up to a $1,000 fine.

The Fargo Police Department is investigating an assault on a 16-year-old female student at Davis High School in Fargo. It happened just after 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
The girl came into the school's office saying she was thrown to the ground by an 18-year-old male student after a verbal fight turned physical, Lieutenant Joel Vettel said.
Officers are also investigating a possible sexual assault. According to Vettel, the girl's shirt was ripped open and she claims the 18-year-old grabbed her breast during the altercation.
Investigators have identified all students involved, but no one is in custody.
