Tonight's benefit raised over $5,500 for Hannah Linz. Thanks to all who came out to show their support!

Original Story

Students and athletes at North Dakota State University are banding together to raise money for a student athlete with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The Blue Key Honor Society and the Student-Athlete Advisory Council are raising money to help cover the medical expenses of Hannah Linz, a Women's Basketball player at NDSU.

Hannah was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in April of 2010. Through chemotherapy and radiation, she was able to win her first fight against Hodgkin's lymphoma.  Hannah has just learned that her cancer has returned. Instead of being able to complete her college basketball career, she is spending much of her time in and out of hospitals fighting this disease.

From her impressive 3.81 GPA in NDSU's nursing program to being ranked 12th nationally in three-point shooting last year, Hannah has shown her commitment to both athletics and academics.

Monday, March 4th the students are holding a spaghetti dinner at the NDSU Alumni Center from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Free will donations are welcomed and a silent auction with some impressive items will take place.
