Dickinson's Airport To Start Charging For Parking

Posted: Updated:

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - Officials at Theodore Roosevelt Regional Airport have decided to start charging for parking.

The Dickinson Press reports (http://bit.ly/XhoxAo) that the Municipal Airport Authority on Friday approved a bid to construct a paid parking system at the Dickinson airport.

Airport manager Matthew Remynse says the authority is anticipating that parking will cost $7 per day.

The new system will include two ticket dispensers, two credit card machines and a pay-on-foot station in the airport's terminal.

Remynse says construction will start in April or May and should be finished by June.

The authority awarded a $410,000 bid for construction and installation to Edling Electric of Bismarck.
