In Friday's Healthier Me, a new study says school breakfast does more than provide children with essential nutrients; it can also impact their academic and economic future.
The information was released as part of the "No Kid Hungry" campaign by the Share Our Strength organization.
According to the study, students who eat a school breakfast do better in math and miss fewer days of school. The research also shows students who attend class more regularly are 20% more likely to graduate from high school, and high school graduates typically earn $10,000 more per year than non-graduates.
