
In Thursday's Healthier Me, electronic cigarettes are growing in popularity in the United States, and a new study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has found that about 1 in 5 adult smokers tried an e-cigarette in 2011 -- that's nearly double the number from 2010.
E-cigarettes are battery-operated devices that look like real cigarettes but use a liquid vapor solution to deliver nicotine, rather than tobacco.
