Yahoo: Come to the Office, or Quit

Posted: Updated:

Dishes are all part of the daily routine for full time mom Audra Kutz. With two daughters at home, there's always chores to be done.

But along with the chore, Kutz also puts in 40 hours as a sales rep, never once leaving her home. Kutz job allows her to work from home. "There's so many benefits. I am much more productive." That's why Audra was surprised to hear the announcement from Yahoo that all those who work from home now have to go to the office or quit.

"This is completely archaic." Kutz says the ability to work from home drew her to her job in the first place. Kutz believes Yahoo should look at a different alternative "They should not ban those from working at home but ban management if they can't manage those who are not in the office." Because she says she's proof, that work can get done, in an office or not.
