North Dakota Mother Charged in Death of Son

Posted: Updated:

A judge has ruled that the case against a Fort Ransom accused of battering her infant son to death should proceed.

Jodi Lindvall, 29, is charged with murder in the death of 22-month-old Bentley Lindvall, who died on September 22.

Prosecutors say an autopsy determined the boy had been physically abused and died of a head injury.

Lindvall told authorities her son hit his head while she was struggling to change his diaper.

Arraignment for Lindvall is scheduled March 6.
