Heating Things Up With Hot Yoga

Posted: Updated:

It's been around since the 1940's, but now it is gaining popularity in the Fargo area. Hot Yoga, or it's traditional name, Bikram yoga is preformed much like regular yoga, however in a heated room.

With temperatures ranging from 95-105 degrees, with additional humidity around 30% pumped in. The heat works to loosen or relax your muscles for a deeper stretch as you sweat profusely, helping to detoxify the body.

The Valley Today's John Trierweiler gave it a try this morning at Fit Hot Yoga in South Fargo. Fit is one of the only studios currently offering hot yoga in Fargo, and has classes from beginner to advanced running seven day's a week.

Fit Hot Yoga is located at 4650 38th Avenue South in Fargo. You can call (701) 356-8617 or click on the link to the right of this story for more information.
