Driver Damages Trooper's Car

Posted: Updated:

If responding to crashes isn't enough, law enforcement had some trouble of their own.

Three people are hurt after a car lost control and rear ended a North Dakota Highway Patrol car.

It happened in the northbound lane of I-29, just south of Fargo around 4 this afternoon. The trooper was pulled over, responding to a roll over. The people involved with that crash were sitting in his car, when another car lost control and rear ended the squad car.

The driver and the trooper's two passengers, who were not wearing seat belts, were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The trooper was not hurt.
