Crash and Rollover Report

Posted: Updated:

Bad roads around the Valley are to blame for dozens and dozens of crashes and rollovers. They started in the morning and carried through all the way into the evening. Captrain Bryan Niewind with the North Dakota Highway Patrol says cars are driving too fast for the conditions. He says in many of the crashes, cars were driving the speed limit on glare ice. In the southeast region alone, the highway patrol has gone to at least 25 crashes and 50 cars in the ditch. Niewind adds that the snow in the ditch is packed down and hard, which is causing a lot of cars to roll.
