
In Thursday's Healthier Me, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued two new studies of sexually transmitted infections (STI's) today.
The studies reveal that the 8 most common STI's -- chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, HPV, Hepatitis B, HIV, and trichomoniasis -- accounted for 110-million infections and nearly $16-billion in medical expenses in the US in 2008.
