Posted: Updated:

A stabbing in Moorhead sent one man to the hospital and another to jail overnight. It happened near 2414 3rd Avenue North around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say the victim was found laying outside, but was conscious and alert with non-life threatening injuries. The 21-year-old was transported to Sanford Hospital by F-M Ambulance.

Officers and Detectives interviewed witnesses and that led to the arrest of Odus Maxwell,34, of Fargo a few hours later on felony assault charges. He is in the Clay County Jail Thursday morning.
