The Clarity® Ensemble™ is a first-of-its kind amplified caption phone that allows users to read conversations as well as hear them. Harris Communications is now offering this groundbreaking product to help people with hearing loss.
Eden Prairie, MN (PRWEB) February 10, 2013
(February 7, 2013) As a leader in the field of assistive products for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, Harris Communications now carries the Clarity® Ensemble™ Amplified Caption Touchscreen Phone with ClarityLogic™. The new Clarity® Ensemble™ provides precise text and a clear voice with captioning, making it a perfect communication solution for people with hearing loss and low vision.
The Ensemble features a 7-inch tablet display with clear fonts and adjustable contrast, as well as an on-screen dial pad. The screen displays an easy-to-read transcript of phone conversations in real-time. The Ensemble also offers a customized listening experience with four tone settings and amplified sound up to 50 decibels.
Captioning on the Ensemble is a free service which is provided by ClearCaptions™, a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certified service provider. Conversations are captioned during the phone call and can be saved for later reference. High speed internet access is required in order to use the captioning and land-line phone service is required to use other features of the Ensemble.
Digital Clarity Power™, Clarity’s patented digital amplification and sound processing, gives the Ensemble clearer call quality. ClarityLogic™, a diagnostic service which will allow a Clarity® representative to remotely adjust the settings, is available on the Ensemble.
The Ensemble retails for $229.00. But for a limited time, it can be purchased at Harris Communications for $140.00.
