UPDATE

William has been invited to be on the Today Show and do the weather with Al Roker early next week. We spoke with his parents, and they are in contact with the producers in New York to set up a time to fly out.

We will bring you more information on when he will be there and when you can see him on the Today Show as soon as we find out.

The Scheels Weather Kid steals the show on Thursday night's 5:00 newscast. William Hallman is a 9-year-old that goes to school at Robert Asp Elementary school.

Valley News Live has a Scheels Weather Kid on every Thursday night at 5:00 p.m. Kids 8 to 18 can sign up at any Scheels' store in Fargo (2 locations), Moorhead, or Grand Forks!
