GFAFB Survey Team Schedules On-Site Visit This Month

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A federal survey team will visit the Grand Forks Air Force Base later this month to assess its potential to host an air refueling tanker mission. The base is one of four being considered for the new active-duty KC-46a tanker mission. The others are in Oklahoma, Washington state and Kansas. The Air Force plans an announcement in the spring after on-site surveys.
