Dalrymple to Sign Highway Improvement Bill

Gov. Jack Dalrymple will sign into law Senate Bill 2176 during a ceremony at the State Capitol on Monday, February 4th.

 

The signing ceremony will be held at 2:45p.m. in the State Capital's Memorial Hall. Joining Gov. Dalrymple for the bill's signing will be Senate Majority Leader Rich Wardner, House Majority Leader Al Carlson, and Interim Director of the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Grant Levi.

In passing Senate Bill 2176, legislative leaders fast tracked a portion of Gov. Dalrymple's proposed $2.7 billion road and highway improvement package and included an emergency clause in the bill to expedite highway and road projects slated for western North Dakota and other areas of the state.
