Posted: Updated:

Some local law enforcement suited up in a different kind of uniform Sunday Jan. 28, and hit the ice.

The Moorhead Police Department hosted the cops and kids hockey game at the Moorhead Sports Center.

About 20 officers faced off against 20 local kids.

Organizers of the annual event say the friendly competition helps kids see law enforcement in a positive light.

Money raised go towards the Moorhead Youth Hockey Association.

The kids ended up beating the officers 11 to 10.
