A man has been arrested in connection with a double shooting that took place early Saturday morning in Detroit Lakes.

Ronald Matthew Quiceno, 38, was arrested without incident on Saturday afternoon at his Detroit Lakes residence and booked on probable cause of second degree murder and other related charges.

The investigation reveals that on Saturday shortly after 1 a.m. Quiceno and the two victims argued at a residence in the Kountry Manner Mobile Home Court at 20450 County Highway 21 in Detroit Lakes. When asked to leave, Quiceno retrieved a .22 revolver from his vehicle then came back into the home and shot the two victims.

The first victim, identified by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office as Travis Dwayne Buckanaga, 23, of Detroit Lakes, died at Essentia Health St. Mary's in Detroit Lakes. The second victim was taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota with non-life threatening injuries. The injured victim has been identified as Barris Duane Guy, 26, of Detroit Lakes.

Quiceno was booked into the Becker County Jail and will likely be charged early next week.

The Becker County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shootings with the assistance of the Detroit Lakes Police Department and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agents and crime scene personnel.
