Grand Forks Road Detour

Posted: Updated:

For the next couple weeks, the city of Grand Forks is asking drivers to avoid an area on 32nd Avenue South.

Starting today, drivers traveling east between 31st and Columbia Road will be re-directed south to 36th Avenue... then over to Columbia.

A temporary 4-way stop will be installed at Columbia Rd. and 36th Ave. S.

Westbound traffic will not be detoured, but may experience delays during heavy traffic times.

Crews need to fix an underground natural gas line.

A temporary road surface will be installed when the project is complete, which will be replaced with concrete when warmer weather returns.
