Wanted Sex Offender Turns Himself In

Posted: Updated:

The Fargo Police Department sent out a notice of a wanted sex offender Tuesday, and after getting the information out through media he turned himself in on Wednesday.

Gerardo Garza's last known address was in Fargo. He moved and failed to tell police or register his new address.  Garza is considered a "moderate risk" offender in North Dakota after sexually assaulting a 14-year-old acquaintance in 2002.

Garza turned himself in at the Fargo Police Department Wednesday morning.
