Pitch to Raise Hunting License Fees

Posted: Updated:

Game and Fish Officials make their pitch Friday Jan. 18, to state lawmakers to increase fees for some hunting licenses and permits.

Game and Fish Director says it's been several years since there has been an increase to most of the state's licensing fees.

A resident big game hunting license would increase from $20 to $25, and a small game hunting license would jump from $6 to $10.

There are still some bargains.

A resident frog license, for example, will remain at $3.
