Juveniles Arrested in Crookston Crime Wave

Posted: Updated:

Three juvenile males are in custody following a weekend rampage of destruction in Crookston.

Nine vehicles had their windows broken or tires slashed, a church and Highland Elementary School had windows shot out and another home had a board thrown through its window.

The suspects allegedly stole B.B. guns from Wal-Mart and worked their trail of destruction Friday and Saturday nights. Police were able to follow footprints in the snow to make the arrests.

Tim Motherway, Crookston Police Chief: "Officers did an excellent job of tracking them down. They were able to identify the suspects… brought them in and they confessed to everything."

The Chief is asking Crookston residents to check their property for damage.  If you find something, you're asked to report it.
