N. Dakota woman charged with burning adult son

A Bismarck woman is accused of burning her 31-year-old disabled son with a cigarette.

The Bismarck Tribune reports  that 61-year-old Joyce Osterlund has been charged with endangerment of a vulnerable adult, a felony.

Osterlund made her first court appearance Friday. Judge Bruce Romanick set her bond at $15,000.

He ordered her to have no contact with her son.
