Family of 4 Pugs Rescued

Posted: Updated:

A family of pugs has been given to a local rescue shelter so they can finally get the care they need.  4 Luv of Dog Rescue has devoted volunteers who help get pets get healthy and into the hands of those who will take care of them.

Recently, a family of pugs was voluntarily given to the shelter after three of the six pups died. The shelter is a non-profit organization, and relies heavily on donations to continue their work.

"People have stepped up and donated a lot already and we really appreciate it. We certainly couldn't do it without them and the people who volunteer for the organization on a day to day basis," says volunteer Natalie Helm.

This family of pugs could take up to eight months to be nursed back to health before they are ready to be put up for adoption.
