     In tonight's Healthier Me, health officials say this flu season is shaping up to be one of the worst in recent years; according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the flu was widespread in 41 states during the last week of December, and though this year's vaccine is well-matched to the flu strains, it isn't 100% effective. However, it does reduce the severity of the illness for those who do get it... so it's still worth a shot.
