Disco In Frisco: Fans Make Road Trip Memorable

Posted: Updated:

Thousands of bison fans are expected to be at the stadium in Frisco tomorrow, and even though the game will be memorable, the trip itself is just as important. Two fans are making their entire journey from Fargo to Frisco one that they, and those they met along the way, will never forget!

It's a repeat championship match up that NDSU fans have been dreaming about. But before the big game, comes the journey. Meet Officer Todd Wahl of the Fargo Police Department... He's got his work uniform and his Bison uniform.

Damon Job of Fargo says, "Walked up, knocked on his door and when I saw what he was wearing I was like 'HOLY COW!'

Todd Wahl of Fargo says, "I look good. No doubt about it. I look really good."

"He told me it was time to do the Disco in Frisco!" says Damon.

And Todd's not the only law enforcement officer that likes to boogy. His pal Damon wears a uniform, too. But the badge doesn't keep them from having a good time.

Damon says, "We had many comments like 'Oh my god, I missed the bathroom because I was too busy looking the those tight pants' to 'I've never seen that in my life'."

Todd says, "People are coming up to me at gas stations coming up to me when we go out to eat and ask if they can have a photo with us."

"Very friendly. Glad to have us, especially the local Hooters," says Damon.

They're on a mission to spread some Fargo love on their road to Frisco. And for Todd this isn't his first order of Bison business. He's had the honor of being Thundar for a year.

"That was the best year of my college career," says Todd.

Whether you've been part of the heard like Todd, or just cheer them on, these guys are out to make Bison fans smile.
