Woman Drives Drunk Through Field After Hit and Run

A Fargo woman is in jail after driving drunk, hitting another car and then driving through a field to get away from law enforcement. It happened at about 7 tonight (Saturday). 46-year-old Dawn Nystrom hit a driver on the 3100 of 42nd avenue. The driver was able to follow her and give police information. She went off the roadway into a field just south of town. The Cass County Sheriff's Department and Fargo Police Department were able to catch her in the field.
