Woman Taken to Hospital After Fire

Posted: Updated:

A woman was taken to the hospital for observation after an apartment fire in Fargo Friday morning. Firefighters say she may have suffered smoke inhalation.

Firefighters were called to 801 6th avenue north just after 11am. The apartment building is about a block east of St. Mary's Cathedral in downtown Fargo.

The fire started in a bedroom of a lower level unit. It appears bedding started on fire.  The damage is isolated to that bedding.
