Check Out the Lights Before It's Too Late

Posted: Updated:

There's not much time left to check them out. Many folks that go all out for the holiday take them down shortly after Christmas. So we figured we'd give you a peak at some of the best yard displays we found before it's too late. In south Fargo it didn't take long to get some good video of some the light shows that caught our eye. Many of them can be expensive, not to mention all the hours it takes to put them up, and maintenance involved. But it really is worth it.... Just ask Jim Rader who's been putting them up for all of 20 years. It takes him about 25 hours to get his yard in working order.

"I think it's just for the holiday cheer. It just brightens things up a little bit I mean it's fun it's a lot of work but it wouldn't be Christmas without the lights." Says Rader.

Jim told us his grand daughters twisted his arm into putting all the light displays up again this year. By the amount of traffic at his home Sunday evening in south Fargo, it's obvious a lot of others appreciate it too.
