Posted: Updated:

Officials say construction is about to start on a $20 million health care facility in Dickinson.

The Dickinson Press reports (http://bit.ly/T9rG1C ) that a groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday for Sanford Health's project that will be located on the city's west side.

Sanford calls the new facility a "super clinic." It is set to open during the summer of 2014.

Sanford merged with Bismarck-based Medcenter One in July, boosting the health system to more than 1,200 physicians and 25,000 employees in seven states. Sanford is based in Fargo and Sioux Falls, S.D.

Sanford Health says it will invest $200 million over the next 10 years on health care services in the Bismarck-Mandan are and throughout western North Dakota.
