Using data from population studies, researchers calculated that a half hour of life can be lost from smoking two cigarettes, being 11 pounds overweight, having two to three drinks or a burger, or watching two hours of TV.

However, they say each day of consuming one alcoholic drink, eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, and exercising can add two hours to your life.
