Weather Causing Bad Driving Conditions

Posted: Updated:

Travel has been tough throughout the Midwest today. Less than expected snow fell in the Fargo area, but strong winds has kept it moving around, making driving conditions difficult.

Fargo got just under two inches of snow, but with cars driving on the roads and compacting the snow, it has made some slippery spots. Today people said that they were trying to stay inside because of the cold.

"I'm just not used to it so I haven't really prepared myself for it, which I should have, but I didn't. So now I'm going to change, I'm going to start wearing a hat for sure which I haven't been doing, the wind kinda hit me in the face today and reminded me to grab a hat." says Eric Watson from Fargo.

North Dakotas driving conditions, most is reported as seasonal driving. But there are some spots in Fargo, West Fargo, and Wahpeton where there is ice and snow.  In Minnesota the further south you go, the roads are more difficult.
