Junior Morgan Zabel's three-pointer at the buzzer was the game-winner as Minnesota State University Moorhead edged Mary, 63-60, in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women's basketball action Saturday night in Bismarck, N.D.
In addition, senior Marisa Yernatich set the new school career three-point record with her first three-pointer of the game. She hit two on the night and now holds the record at 153.
The Dragons improved to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in the NSIC, while Mary fell to 5-3 overall and 1-2 in the league.
Several players shined in Saturday's win, which saw the Dragons battle back from a 13-point first-half deficit.
