Santa Claus Visits Red River Zoo

Posted: Updated:

Santa Claus went and visited some furry friends with paws as well as kids today at the Red River Zoo.  Families had a chance to see Santa at the zoo where they got to take pictures, eat lunch, and ride the carousel.

Money raised from the event goes to the zoo to keep it sustained during the winter. Kids also got to give gifts to the animals. Zoo staff put treats in peanut butter covered boxes for them to tear into. If your family didn't make it to the zoo this summer it's open all year long on the weekends.
