West Fargo Student Loses Battle with Cancer

It has been a difficult week for students at West Fargo High School after learning of the sudden death of Sophomore Tessa Miller and they are mourning the death of another friend today.

The school district sent out a note Friday morning saying 16-year-old Ian Alves lost his fight with cancer.  He passed away early Friday morning, and counselors from around the district are available for staff and students.
