Bowls For Babies Lunch

Posted: Updated:

Eating lunch out may cost money, but if it's going to a good cause, it's all worth it.  The 10th annual "Bowls For Babies" lunch was held today, with a variety of soups, breads and treats donated by local businesses.

It was 20 bucks for unlimited soup, and a souvenir bowl to keep. All the money goes to the March of Dimes, who's mission is to help premature babies, and keeping babies healthy.  "It's just a wonderful community event, and it's kind of a fun time of the year to come out for the holidays. We have a large silent auction selection too so people can get their Christmas shopping done, while they are enjoying some of the wonderful soups." says Melissa McCulley who helped with the event. Some of the proceeds go to the March of Dimes headquarters, but most stays local.
