Bomb Threat at Minot Mall

Posted: Updated:

No new leads this morning in the bomb threat that shut down a North Dakota shopping mall.

Police in Minot say the Dakota Square Mall will re-open today. No one was hurt and no bomb was found.

Shopping came to an abrupt halt tonight at the mall in Minot. As of 9:00 pm Monday night, the Dakota Square Mall remained evacuated after a bomb threat was called in just before 6:00 pm. Minot police say the caller threatened to blow up the movie theatre, which is inside the mall. A SWAT team and K9 units were called in and have been checking out the mall.
