Ice and snow covered roads may be to blame for the death of an 87-year-old Pelican Rapids woman. Eileen Johnson was killed and another person was injured when a vehicle left the road and ended up in a slough near Rollag. The crash happened around 5:30 Friday afternoon on state Highway 32. Johnson's husband, 83-year-old Ervin Johnson, was taken to Sanford in Fargo and treated for hypothermia. The state patrol is investigating if weather was a factor.
