Last year Central Cass had a lot of veteran leadership to help guide them to the state tournament. Seven seniors played meaningful minutes. But this year, senior point guard Ellery Bresnahan is expected to take on a larger leadership role of his own. The Squirrels will be young this season, and the quick point guard will be asked to do more on the floor than he has before: not just scoring, but making sure his teammates are ready to contend.
Bresnahan says he expects Oak Grove, Maple Valley, and Kindred to be a the toughest games for the Squirrels this season.
