UPDATE:
An FBI spokesman says authorities do not believe there is any threat to the public in the wake of the shooting deaths of a woman and her three grandchildren in the Fort Berthold Reservation community of New Town on Sunday.
Kyle Loven won't say whether a suspect might be in custody or might be dead, citing the ongoing investigation. Mountrail County Sheriff Ken Halvorson told the Minot Daily News that authorities are investigating whether a New Town man's death in Parshall is connected to the New Town killings but he didn't elaborate.
The five bodies are being brought to Bismarck for autopsies.
