Thanksgiving Day Preps

Posted: Updated:

Thanksgiving is only a few days away, and with a stuffed schedule many people tend to forget the little things so we made you a list.
Number one is to get your turkey early and read all the directions before Thursday. Knowing how long your turkey will take to make will help you plan out the rest of your cooking day. Also make sure you have all your grocery store needs, forgotten items may run out at the stores. Prepare for children, pull out the kiddie table and chairs and also plan some activities to help keep the kids busy. But the number one thing to remember is take the day to be thankful.

Heidi Kerbaugh of Fargo says, "It's all about family, single word is it's all about family, just spending as much time together and being thankful for a day when we can be together, all of us."

Another tip is to make sure you have a camera out for the holiday, taking pictures can help document the moment and also your favorite dishes.
